Announcer
This volunteer does need prior training and/or experience announcing a swim meet.
Concessions
This volunteer is responsible for set up, clean up, and monitoring of the concession stand throughout the swim meet.
Event Keeper
This volunteer will be responsible for ensuring the event board is updated on the pool deck as well as within the Swimtopia app. Use of your cell phone and access to the Swimtopia app on your personal phone is required. Please report to the volunteer table near the concession stand at 6:00pm for further training on the day of the meet.
Grill Master
Calling all grill masters! If you are interested in grilling up some hamburgers and hotdogs for our concession stand then this job is for you!
Place Judge
This volunteer sits with a volunteer from the other team at the edge of the pool and watches the swimmers finish each race. Together, you will record the order of the finishes in each lane.
Runner
This volunteer runs the slips containing the swimmers' times to the scoring/computer table. This is a good job if you would like exercise during the meet.
Scoring and Ribbons
This volunteer gets to sit in the shade and help the computer person enter scores and label ribbons throughout the meet.
Starter
This volunteer sits at table near starting blocks with the Announcer. Says, "Swimmers take your mark," and then blow the starting horn.
Timer
Please report in front of the concession stand at 5:45 pm for a timers meeting with the meet referee. You will operate a stopwatch and record the time when swimmers finish the race.
Team Mom
Responsible for coordinating the end of the year gift for our amazing coaching staff.
